HAVELSAN GNSS Receiver, developed for ships and naval platforms entirely based on HAVELSAN's own resources, will serve at the poles for the first time.
HAVELSAN GNSS Receiver, on which HAVELSAN has been working for a while to meet the need for an independent navigation system to be used on ships, will be used for the first time in the polar expedition to Antarctica.
Following the cooperation between HAVELSAN and TÜBİTAK Polar Research Center, HAVELSAN prepared the GNSS for a mission in the poles in a short period of 4 months, with the addition of features and equipment specific to the polar conditions, using its experienced engineering power and competencies in this field.
HAVELSAN GNSS Receiver has the ability to calculate location and provide global coverage by using satellites of many different countries such as GPS, Galileo, Beidu, Glonass, QZSS.
HAVELSAN GNSS Receiver, which offers uninterrupted working performance with real-time location, speed and time information, will be ready for use on many ships after the pole mission.
