Ship Data Distribution Systems (SDDS)

Produced in a fully-redundant way, the Ship Data Distribution System (SDDS) was formed by two cabinets and data distribution lines that simultaneously perform collocated functions at two separate points of the ship.

This superior design ensures at the highest level the continuity of data feeding to the critical sensors and weapons onboard. The SDDS is the heart of the platform it is used on as it is.

In addition to its significant contribution to safe navigation and operation execution of the platforms, the SDDS can generate dynamic virtual data instead of real sensor data when desired, and this way feed the relevant systems of the ship and create a training environment by means of its Recording, Analysis and Simulation units
