Torpedo Fire Control System (TORAKS)

The goal in the TORAKS R&D Project is develop a mobile torpedo fire control system that can be integrated onto command and control systems in various classes of submarine platforms in a way to incorporate common features of modern torpedo weapons fired from submarines. Since it is a domestic and indigenous system, the continuity of development, maintenance and sustainment activities can be ensured. TORAKS has a modular and extensible structure capable of addressing different integration needs.

Its capabilities include;
  • Shell selection,
  • Monitoring fire stages,
  • Assignment by means of target selection to the torpedo to be fired,
  • Entering and modification of torpedo parameters, manual control of torpedo by operator,
  • Engagement planning.
