Objective of Turkey’s Electorate System-SEÇSİS- which is one of the 3 biggest e-government projects is;

• To determine electorate citizens according to suitable laws,
• To prevent repeated act of writing,
• To vote easily and quickly,
• To get election results quickly,
• To minimize the objections,
• To collect required information, prepare lists, keep and update them properly in computer form and use these information and technological possibilities in the elections which will provide to use their political rights in high ratio with the consciousness of citizens’ mission and responsibility.

Within the context of Computer Supported Central Elections Registry System-SEÇSİS- developed with Java System which is centrally web based and multiple layers;

• Citizens can learn where they vote by internet from their homes or offices,
• Each Town Board of Election can get Electoral Lists, Voter Information List and other documents from the computer by getting upgrade their own information.

Computer Supported Central Elections Registry System-SEÇSİS- is generalized in 733 towns.
