Turkish Air Force Information System (TICCS) is a comprehensive and integrated military information system solution, supporting for all business processes from strategic through tactical and operational levels.

TICCS consists of a C2 (Battle Management) framework supported by a Resource Management base. These two transactional components provide data for the analytic decision support (DSS) layer. The high availability/ survivability/ security performance requirement of TICCS is ensured by the System Management System.

TICCS, aims at automation of the extensive part of Air Forces functions, is a system which serves in all levels of Air Forces organizations from operational level to execution.

Basic characteristics of TICCS are as follows;  

• C2 capabilities of the TICCS solution are based on a robust, highly survivable, multi-tier and component-based architecture.

• Resource management functions are highly developed extentions of industry leader ERP applications.

• Information security is maintained through nationally developed software and in accordance with industry standards, multi-level security components at computer, site, and system levels.

• The high degree of process integration subject to authorization, enables total visibility of operations and assets across organizational, locational and hierarchical boundaries. Processes and process metrics can be monitored analyzed and rapidly acted on at appropriate command levels.
